Website and local settings
Vercel hosts this website and processes technical connection data such as IP address, browser and request time. To improve this website we use PostHog (PostHog Inc., USA; data stored in the EU region in Frankfurt, Germany). We run PostHog without cookies: no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored in your browser, no user profiles are created and no sessions are recorded. It records page views and anonymous events such as button clicks, package selection and starting, progressing and sending the briefing, without form answers or contact details. IP addresses are anonymised and not stored. The sole purpose is improving this website; the basis is our legitimate interest under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, Art. 6 and 31). Browsers with “Do Not Track” enabled are not tracked. See the PostHog privacy policy. Language, animation state and selected services are kept in local browser storage. Payment providers may use cookies and similar technology on their own pages.
Briefing and contact
We process the contact and project details, selections, dates and optional notes you submit to respond and prepare a possible engagement. Requests are sent over an encrypted connection to the Supabase leads table when the connection succeeds. A delivery failure is shown in the form. If you then open WhatsApp or email and send the prepared message, your chosen communication provider also processes those details.
Stripe Checkout and payments
After you consent to proceed with payment, we redirect you to Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe processes the contact, billing and payment details required for payment, fraud prevention and any recurring billing. Card details are entered on Stripe Checkout and are not stored in our briefing or leads table. Kymat receives order references, payment status and necessary billing records. Codes, deposits, invoice links and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Returning to this site alone is not proof of payment; status is checked on the server.
Providers and international processing
We use Vercel for hosting, PostHog for cookieless web analytics, Supabase for enquiries and Stripe for payments. Depending on their infrastructure and agreed configuration, these providers may process data outside Switzerland. Where required, appropriate contractual safeguards or another permitted protection mechanism apply. WhatsApp and email are also subject to the respective provider’s privacy information. Purpose, retention and security
We use data to answer enquiries, prepare and perform contracts, manage billing and keep the website secure. Required consents are requested separately. We retain data only as long as necessary for these purposes or legal obligations. Only authorised people may access enquiries. To limit abuse, a cryptographically derived IP value is stored temporarily for up to 48 hours. A separate protected order and payment ledger records references and payment status. We do not promise automatic deletion of all project data on a specific schedule here.
Project emails
After confirmed payment, we may email the design-direction questions and eligible referral codes. When automatic delivery is enabled, Resend processes the explicitly supplied recipient address, message content and delivery status. A private outbox prevents duplicate messages. Provider acceptance is not confirmation of inbox delivery.

Newsletter «Fünf Minuten»
If you subscribe, we process your email address, optional first name, and the time, IP address and source page of your signup as proof of consent. We use them only to send you the newsletter with tips as well as offers, discount codes and news from Kymat Studio. Sending is based on the consent you give by ticking the checkbox; you are subscribed immediately, no confirmation email is needed. Open and click tracking is enabled (tracking pixel and personalised links) to measure delivery, opens and clicks per recipient. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue or at hello@kymatstudio.com. We keep your data until you unsubscribe; sending and communication logs are kept for 12 months; after unsubscribing your address stays on a suppression list. The newsletter is sent from hello@kymatstudio.com via MailerLite Limited (Dublin, Ireland) as our processor, data stored in the EU (Google Cloud, Netherlands); access by MailerLite, Inc. (USA) is possible and covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses adapted for Switzerland. The full German version is authoritative: Datenschutz (DE).
